HISTORIQUE

Bref, nous sommes réunis autour du Christ dans un ministère commun pour le Réveil et l’Evangélisation de l’Eglise ;
Ephésiens 4,11-16

SOURCE D’INSPIRATION

Spiritual warfare: The fight is on
Spiritual warfare: The fight is on
By Pastor Simon Muange

SUNDAY, July 15th/2007
When a troop goes to battle field, he must have adequate equipment; Weapons, knives, and many other things in order to protect himself. But you! What kind of weapon do you have in order to fight your enemy? What kind of protection do you have against the enemy’s arrows? You can wonder why the enemy has always won over you. Yet you who believe in Jesus you have the power to overcome the enemy. Well, because there is a desire in you that don’t glorify the Lord; sometime you have the desire of drinking alcohol and you think it’s normal after giving so many reasons about health; the enemy has already dominated over you because you don’t know how to fight him. That’s why the enemy has always overcome you.

If you hold on Jesus, if you listen to his voice, if you follow him, you will be a winner. If you recognize your weaknesses and if with all your heart you present them in front of God, then He will intervene and will give you victory. You will stand up, look back and say; "Behold who I was yesterday. Behold who I am today". Then you’ll become testimony for other people, and even for those who saw you in sinful life. They will come close to you and ask "What’s up with you?" Proudly tell them "Jesus has transformed me! I am Christian, that’s why I am like this" and you will become the enemy to your enemy by warning other people against the enemy’s evil plans, because if someone is not delivered by Jesus, would never be able to help other find deliverance

I won’t leave you like orphans
I won’t leave you like orphans
By Pastor Simon Muange

SUNDAY, July 08th/2007
The presence of the Holy Spirit is very crucial in our lives. After Jesus coming to earth, He had to go back. But He found out He could not leave His disciples with nothing. He said "I won’t leave you like orphans; I will send you the Holly spirit and when the Holly spirit will come, He will guide you in entire truth" These last days a lot people are in perdition because they don’t know the truth. They would run from right to left seeking for the truth. They are many other people who think they pray a true God but yet they pray dead gods.

Like I said last time, we have met with someone who came from India and who said they have about twenty five gods. This man tried hard to explain us, but it was not easy to listen. And he held on saying he prays God, but when I invited him to come pray with us, it was so difficult for him to accept the invitation because he cannot pray with Christians. He is, and perseveres in ignorance! No, we have to come back to Jesus, He who is the way, the truth and life. We cannot find life in someone else but in Jesus. So when Jesus wanted to leave, He said "I want to go to my father so I can send you a consoler." When the consoler will come, He will convince you the world about sin, because the world did not believe in Jesus and people live in sin. Even those who said they have believed, don’t want to follow the way of Jesus, they don’t want to follow and even to listen the word of God; they continue their sinful ways. This is the importance of the Holly spirit.

Jesus is coming. How well are you prepared?
Jesus is coming. How well are you prepared?
By Pastor Simon Muange

SUNDAY, July 01st/2007
John the Baptist came to teach people to prepare the way of the Lord. The Bible describes what he was wearing, and what he ate. This was the sacrifice, so people can hear what God wants. Now John the Baptist is gone and Jesus came about with an objective that none of us get lost but each and every one can have the knowledge of the truth and be saved. Jesus worked through people, and He gave a mission to the disciples to go to the entire world to preach the good news to people. Those who believe shall be saved, but whoever who won’t believe will be condemned. How should you believe? All of us here, we are believers. Did we really believe? How did we believe? As Jesus gave the mission to the disciples, His expectation was that the good new of His kingdom be preached to all nations and to the entire creation.

It’s so amazing these last days to see how fast the word of God is spreading all over the world, we all know the technology, we know a lot of things but the world of God is been preached. God continues putting His word in people who go in very remote area. The objective is that the word to reach to the entire world, and I don’t believe any one will stand saying "I didn’t hear" since Jesus said "Go all over the world and preach the Good news". By now, we don’t know where the word has reached and where it hasn’t. Jesus is coming back and the Bible has shown the signs of His coming. When Jesus will come, He will only take pride of those who are with Him and those who are in Him. Don’t be caught up by surprise! Jesus is coming at any time. Are you ready? How well are you prepared?

Baptism: Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

By Pastor Simon Muange

SUNDAY, June 24th/2007
We have been speaking a lot about the baptism. Whoever receives the word of God needs to get baptized depending on circumstances in which he/she receives it. When God gives you the opportunity to receive Him, you should never postpone your salvation for next day because the future belongs to God alone. Today is your day! You need to take advantage of this opportunity that God gives you. The Bible asks us a question "Don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?" We have been speaking to demonstrate that to be baptized, you must be plunged into water. When you’re plunged in water, it’s a sign that shows that you are dead in Christ, because no one can breathe in water.

During the baptism we accept to dye with Christ, we accept to resurrect with Christ. We bury our old life and we resurrect within a new life in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is our life model, He too received baptism. He said "I am the way, the truth and the life"; He is an example and our model to follow. We should not follow the example of the human beings. Jesus who is God humbled Himself and accepted to be baptized, that’s why I said that when we receive baptism we accept to dye with Him and we accept to resurrect with Him so when He will come back, we will be able to meet and to live with Him. Someone who dies in sin is someone who cannot comeback to life

Christ in you! He is your hope of glory

By Br. Daniel Markoya

SUNDAY, June 03rd/2007
There is a scripture that says not to despise the discipline, not to ignore the discipline because God disciples everyone He loves, God disciplines all His children. Without God’s discipline, you are a bastard. You need to have the discipline of the Lord. If you do, it’s a good sign that you are walking with Him. God will discipline us in many ways. God will challenge us in many ways. Every time God challenges us, is for a good, and the reason is that God loves us all the time. Every moment of every day God thinks of you, and all His though are though of love toward you. He always loves you even when you in your waste conditions, in your grossest sin, He still loves you. He will always love you but he may not tolerate your sin. He loves you but your sin must go

How is it for you? How is your relationship with your mom and dad? Are you obedient? Do you listen to their guidance? How is it between you and our heavenly father? Are you ready to surrender all, to listen and obey? Or it’s in you to resist! Is it the grip of the world so strong that you would rather serve this age, serve the rulers of this world, and serve the last of your flesh, instead serving the living God! How is it with your soul? If you do not serve the Lord there is a guarantee that thinks would not go well with you. You may have some earthly pleasure, you may have some riches in this life but I guarantee you things will not go well for the eternity. Things will not go well with you. God has a plan for your life. And that plan is to fulfill you, to have the seed planted in you come to full growth. And that seed is to grow in the tree of life they will bear good fruits; kindness, genteelness, faithfulness, love, you will have a heart full of peace, joy, and you will really be fulfilled with God’s love which will envelop you, will envelop the good seed that will grow in Christ who was in the world so you also will be.

Do not cause my little ones to stumble

SUNDAY, May 27th/2007
When Jesus talks about "little ones" in Marc 9:42, He’s not talking about children. We can think so because we were talking about children before. Previously we were talking about a man who was not one of the disciples and who was casting out demons in Jesus name and Jesus said that those were the "little ones", the ones who are brothers but are just disrespected. The ones are sisters and no one talks to them. Jesus says the one thing you do not do is to not cause them to stumble Jesus is not talking about the physical stripping. Every time the word "stumble" away from God is used, it means separating these people from ways of God. There are two ways that you can do this; you can do it the way the disciples did it and say "Go away because you are not one of us, you are not welcome here". That would cause a brother to stumble because you are separating them from the church of God.

Another way to do it is to encourage them to sin; for example if you have a brother or a sister who has weakness in certain sin and you say" come on! Come on it is okay, there won’t be any problem" that would cause them to stumble. So the two things we should not do to dishonorable brother, is that we should not encourage them to sin and we should not separate from the church of God. What would happen to us if we do? Jesus is talking about having a heavy milestone hung around your neck. Milestone at Jesus time were not too big and they weighted about two tones. And said that anyone who cause someone to stumble to have this heavy milestone tied up around his neck, put on a boat, taken in middle of the ocean and then thrown in, because it would be better for them to be treated that way than to cause others to stumble.

Charge up the battery to bear light

SUNDAY, May 20th/2007
People don’t understand the importance and necessity of the Holy Spirit in their lives. The Bible says that when the Holy Spirit will come upon you, He will convince you about sin and will guide you in the entire truth. Someone without the Holy Spirit can embrace any doctrine in the world. That’s why you see people in magic and witchcrafts, they are desperate and don’t know what to do because they don’t have the truth. The Holy Spirit is not there. They are ready to worship other gods that cannot even give peace instead of worship the living God who will come to take us. These people will never stand in the presence of God. The Holy Spirit makes you know things that God has put in us by grace. He will convince you about sin and will guide you in the entire truth, and then you will bear light in your life.

We need to develop the life of intercession in our lives because the more we pray, the more the Holy Spirit is strengthened. The Bible tells us not to sadden the Holy Spirit which has been given to us until the days of rupture. You’ll see other people walking, but they don’t have the power of the Holy Spirit in them; they have saddened the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can not work to help them because they don’t have that desire to have Him. Let’s take the example of a car; if the battery is down, you cannot start the car. You won’t have enough energy to power the engine in order to produce the light. You need to charge the battery so you can have light and so the car can even start.

Mother's day: A mother's characteristic

SUNDAY, May 13th/2007
Mothers play a huge role in our family and in our society. Pastor Simon has developed the example of Mary Magdalene who woke up early in the morning and went to the tomb to look for Jesus. She could not find Jesus in the tomb because Jesus had already risen from the dead. Mary showed a sign of courage. Like Mary Magdalene, mothers should be busy seeking for Jesus in their lives. Our mothers should be women who fear God! Verse 30 of Proverbs 31 says "A woman who fears the Lord shall be praised." What does fearing God mean?

  1. The illustration shows the practical working of a Godly woman who feared God.
  2. The Hebrew word is "yir' a" and means an "emotional reaction, terror, or to be afraid, and to have reverence for God, a deep respect."
  3. In many places in the Old Testament the use of the term to fear God and proper living are so closed related they are virtually synonymous ideas. If a person feared God, it resulted in living a godly life. The fear is seen as the motivation which produced righteous living.
  4. Exodus 1:17, the midwives feared God and would not kill the new born baby boys. In Exodus 1:21 God richly rewarded them.
  5. Godly fear is the result of believing in God! Most people have such a small view of God. Yet, He created the entire Universe...the Bible says he spoke it into existence out of nothing. Compared to us He is so much more than we can even fathom.
  6. True believer causes a deep reverence and respect of God.

Everyone who sins breaks the law

SUNDAY, May 6th/2007
Sin is of the devil, he who commits sin is of the devil. The devil did not create any body in this world, but the came just to steal and to destroy. God created man in His image and when the enemy comes, he wants to work on man who was created in the image of God. The objective of the enemy is to destroy the faith of man created by God. As long as we live in this world, people remain in the distraction, sometime they forget, and sometime they live in ignorance of the truth. That’s why the enemy takes advantage. The Bible says that Satan is very smart; he knows that if we have the full knowledge of the word of God, he won’t have room in our thought. That’s why he fights in each way so he can take us away of the ways of God. "No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him"

If someone found Jesus in life, if someone sees Jesus in life, he/she will never remain the same; he/she will totally change. We’ve hard a lot of testimonies about people who changed, some of them were borne in antichrist families, meaning a family that doesn’t believe in Jesus Christ. Talking about families is a small thing of course, but we are talking about countries, even continents ... This person who felt that he was at the end of everything, went on to seek a supernatural power, and finally he found Jesus. After he had found Jesus, his entire life was changed. But when you find Jesus, you must endure the persecution. Finding Jesus doesn’t mean to be calm; persecutions will be right there, the enemies will be right there as well, because they don’t want you to discover the truth.

Hear the voice of the Lord

SUNDAY, April 29nd/2007
As the Lord builds His church, we do need to labor, we do need to share our faith, and we do need to invite people to follow Jesus. We do need to follow Jesus in our lives and we are supposed to get rest. The Lord gives us this rest. There is a work, but there is a rest in the Lord that rejuvenates in us, and renews us. The Lord is building His house, yet the Lord is building His church. Let think about what is happening and go to I King 19:11, because each one of us need to listen to voice of the Lord.

The Lord was not in the wind. The Lord was not in the fire. The Lord was not in the earthquake. The voice of the Lord came as it spoke to Elijah, that small voice that speaks to us in the deepest of our heart. It’s not necessarily dramatic or something that will stop us to see what we see, but it’s a voice that speaks to us in deepest of our spirit. The voice that calls us and says come and follow me, go and do, the voice that speaks to deepest of our soul. We need to place ourselves clause to God and not necessarily look for the fire, the earthquake and mighty wind, but to open up our ears and to hear the voice of the Lord

Know your duty as a child of God

SUNDAY, April 22nd/2007
We are children of God because the word of God says so. But what we will be hasn’t been manifested yet. It will be manifested the day when Jesus will come back. Meanwhile, by the time we are living on this world we have to make an effort so this day wouldn’t be a surprised for us. The Bible says that when Jesus will comeback, we will be like Him. Meaning that we will be clothed with a heavenly body and we will be taken to meet with Him. Those who died in Christ will comeback to life with a heavenly body as well. It'll really be interesting to meet each other that day. If you know that one of these days you will meet with the Lord, then you must know there is a duty for you and me, the duty to purify ourselves, the duty to sanctify ourselves, the duty of knowing that we are travelers, a duty of making sure that this manifestation day doesn’t happen as surprise, since it will be a big surprise for those who will be slipping because of distraction, incredulity, and for those who are still in rebellion, it will be a big surprise!. But our Lord is good, He is full of love. He stretches His hand and He calls upon you. He gives us opportunity to get together and hear His words. The word of God is the word that purifies us.

We need to be aware that we need to purify ourselves, that means we need to clean ourselves each and everyday of our life. The enemy doesn’t want to be cleaned, and the biggest problem is that you cannot see the enemy. The enemy is playing a game on you; He will penetrate in someone that you know then start causing trouble through this person. If you don’t have discernment, then you will see this person as your enemy.

Communion: What's the importance of the Lord's supper?

SUNDAY, April 15th/2007
The Passover was the most sacred feast of the Jewish religious year. It commemorated the final plague on Egypt when the firstborn of the Egyptians died and the Israelites were spared because of the blood of a lamb was sprinkled on their doorposts. The lamb then was roasted and eaten with unleavened bread. God’s command was that throughout the generations to come the feast would be celebrated. The story is recorded in Exodus 12.

During the celebration, Jesus and the disciples sang together one or more of the Hallel Psalms (Psalms 111 - 118). Jesus, taking a loaf of bread, gave thanks to God. As He broke it and gave it to them, He said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you". In the same way He took the cup, and when He had supped and gave the cup to them, they drank of it. He said, "This cup is the New Covenant in My blood; do this whenever you drink of it in remembrance of Me." He concluded the feast by singing a hymn and they went out into the night to the Mount of Olives. It was there that Jesus was betrayed, as predicted, by Judas. The following day He was crucified.

The accounts of the Lord’s Supper are found in the Gospels in Matthew 26:26-29, Mark 14:17-25, Luke 22:7-22, and John 13:21-30. The Apostle Paul wrote concerning the Lord’s Supper by divine revelation in 1 Corinthians 11:23-29. (This was because Paul was not, of course, in the upper room at its institution.) Paul includes a statement not found in the Gospels: "Whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself" (11:27-29). We may ask what it means to partake of the bread and the cup "in an unworthy manner." It may mean to disregard the true meaning of the bread and cup, and forgetting the tremendous price our Savior paid for our salvation. Or it may mean to allow the ceremony to become a dead and formal ritual, or to come to the Table with unconfessed sin. In keeping with Paul’s instruction, each should examine himself before eating of the bread and drinking of the cup so as to heed the warning.

Jesus has risen

SUNDAY, April 08th/2007
As God’s children, today is a great day. It’s a great day for Christians. Unless you are not a Christian you cannot understand that it’s a great day for us Christians. If Jesus was not resurrected from the dead, we would not be talking about Christians today. We are proud of ourselves because we belong to Christ. The women were so courageous. They proved that they had a great love for the Christ. They sacrificed themselves to go and see where Jesus had been buried. They had a desire from the bottom of their heart to see if the word of Jesus should come to pass. That’s why they went to the tomb. When they arrive there, they found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb, and there was no body that was strong enough who could be able to do that. God had sent His angels to come and roll away the stone. Even the tomb guardians did not see any one but they just saw the stone rolling and they started to tremble.

At the same time the women came and found that the stone had been removed from the tomb, they entered to see what’s going on. They only saw clothes a side and then they become afraid. But they saw two men appear. These men had shiny clothes; we can say they were angels. They told the women, "You are looking for Jesus but He is not here. He has risen". The angels knew who the women were; they knew they were from Jesus’ side. That’s why they told them, "Go to Galilee, that’s where you can meet Jesus" The women went quickly tell the news to disciples who were still locked in the room. The women told them the news that Jesus was resurrected from the dead and He was no longer in the tomb

Jesus has risen from the dead. There was no thing powerful enough to keep in the tomb. Jesus who did great things in the world, He even resurrected dead people. He told His disciple that He will resurrected the third day but they could not understand. A while before He was crucified, He told peter that he will deny Him. You too you deny Jesus in many occasions. You give glory to yourself; you want to follow him or to believe Him when you want to. You close your ears when some one tells you about the word of God. You think that there is a time when you will believe. But the time that He has for you, is the time when you hear the word of God. That’s the time He wants you to stand up and to follow Him. But the enemy is till fighting to pull you back and give you many explanations; I’ll do this tomorrow or after tomorrow, but you are not the master of your time.

Will you forgive?

SUNDAY, April 01st/2007
Some people tried to look at their appearance by saying "I come from Rwanda" another one will say "I come from Congo" and another one will say "I’m from America" Is this what God asks us to do? Is this how we will be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ? The Bible says that in Heaven there will no longer be a Greek or a Jewish, there will be just one people; those who belong to Christ, those who embrace the salvation. That’s where we belong, that’s our identification. But many times the devil can use you; he can use me just to defy the people of God. Why! Why should we listen to those bad voices? Will you forgive? The only antidote of revenges is to forgive. You can find that in Judges 15:1. God is an amazing God. God is a God of forgiveness. If we really wanted to identify ourselves to God, we need to forgive. Forgive ourselves first, and then forgive others. Because sometimes it’s hard to forgive others if you cannot forgive yourself. I Chronicle 21:8 says: When King David realized he is sick, he took full responsibility; he admitted that he was wrong and asked God to forgive him. Many times when we are in trouble we don’t want to be responsible. We just says it’s others; it’s this family, it’s this tribe, it’s this country but if you really need to reach deeply the connections with God You have got to understand what the Bible says. This is a mirror; if you really want to persevere.

God is God of forgiveness. God is God of love. King David committed abomination if I can say so. But because he cried in side him, he had a favor from God. He took the full responsibility and he accepted that he did wrong and then he stepped out of the box of sin and he saw Jesus Christ who died, and he saw God himself in His full love, and then said to himself "Yes God, I did wrong but I come to you because you are a God of forgiveness, I want to be forgiven because that’s your name". And then David was forgiven

What's your idol?

SUNDAY, Mar 25th/2007
Seek for the Lord while He is close to you. He is not far away from you but He is so close than can’t image. The only thing you need to do is to open the mouth and to invoke upon Him; He will enter into your live. You will have joy to be with Him. An idol is something that takes the place of god, maybe you, you haven’t discovered that yet. In your case your hair could be your idol. May be it’s the ring that you wear because it’s a golden ring that is worth $50,000.00. You say "when I have this ring on me, or when I have this necklace on my suitcase, it’s like having money in my bank account"What’s your idol? Even in your house you have some kind of idol.

When you worship something like that, you just call upon the anger of God because God is so jealous. He wants to occupy the first place in your life. Have you given Him the first place? In order to give Him the first place you need first to know Him. Do you know God? Do you recognize Him in your life? Has He ever made himself available to you? "I will enter in your house, I will super with you. My father and I will enter in your house and will duel with you". It’s a desire of God to enter in your house. May be you close your door for Him to come in, but it’s a desire for Him to come and to enter in your house. And when He enters, you’ll see peace, joy, strength and victory. God loves us with His infinite love so we can recognize Him.

Love means pick up the cross

SUNDAY, Mar 18th/2007
As Christians we need to believe that Jesus is alive and that’s our responsibility. As Christian we need to be together in our community, that’s our responsibility socially. As Christian we need also to do something; we need to act correctly. We want to hear what Jesus has to says about it because it doesn’t mater how many preachers come to tell you what to do, but the only thing that matters is what Jesus says. So, if you hear me say "the word of Steve comes", don’t listen to me. But if you hear the word of Jesus, please pay attention because Jesus speaks. Jesus tells us what to do in Luc 9:28

The word of Jesus tonight is what it is that we need to do or how we need to act. Most of the times when you ask people "What does Jesus wants us to do?" the response is that "Jesus asked us to love" which is true, because we need to love but which kind of love? Should we love like the world asks us to love? If we look at the word "Love" in the dictionary, you can find some twenty different definitions and if you talk to twenty different people and ask them "what’s love"? They will give you twenty different answers; one person would say "Oh Jesus asks me to love meaning that I can have sex with as many people as possible" We know that it is not what Jesus is talking about here.

We need to look to what Jesus says about love in all contexts. I just want to clarify one aspect. Jesus asks to love, meaning to pick up the cross. Love means to deny yourself. When Jesus died, He did not die for Himself, He did not die because it was fun, He did not die because it was the good time, He did not die because it was a temporary fixed but Jesus died as sacrifice. He gave up every thing for us.

Keep Jesus' commandments

SUNDAY, Mar 11th/2007
You are the blessed of God because you are here today to hear the word of God. His grace is upon you. Behold! Jesus is coming back to pick you up. That’s why He tells His disciples:"I’m leaving but I’ll come back to take you" You also are among those who will meet with Jesus that day, as long as you keep his word and commandments, as long as you meditate His word night and day, as long as you make an effort to put His Word in practice otherwise you’ll be confused. When you have the word of God, you have the word that gives you a limit. I cannot go beyond a limit that God has put in front me. For I have to obey to what the word of god says. When I feel that I cannot obey, I have to ask for the grace of God so I can obey because it’s not by your effort but by the strength of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said "the word that you hear is spirit", meaning that it has life in it. Jesus said also "if someone loves me, he will keep my word, my father and I we’ll love him and will make our home into him". What joy is to be able to live with Jesus! Jesus seeks to enter into your life. That’s why He said "I’m knocking at your door, if somebody hears my voice will open, I will enter and I will have super with him" Behold Jesus wants to have super with you, He wants to duel in your life, He wants to use your life. Why don’t you want to open your heart so Jesus can come in? You wonder "How do I close my heart to Jesus?" When you rejoice into things of this world, you have closed your heart to Jesus and you don’t want Jesus to enter. But when Jesus enters in your heart you’ll live in peace and you’ll be comforted by Him.

The end is near

SUNDAY, Mar 04th/2007
After the death of Jesus Christ, the disciples locked themselves somewhere. Then they received the news that Jesus had resurrected. But there was another event that took place; the soldiers who were keeping the tomb ran quickly to report the resurrection to the scribes and elders. They said that the man who was crucified had resurrected, and that He was no longer in the tomb. The scribes and elders agreed together to bribe the soldier for not to tell any one such news. But the news was already out and there was no way to stop it from spreading. That news continues spreading until today.

You are Christian, and then you must understand that we are living in the end of time. You can tell from what you are seeing on the television these days. People are so distracted and bother much about what they hear on the television concerning Jesus Christ, and yet these people are doing their daily duties; they looking for money in order to change many from their way of the Lord. But you, you are warned we have to read the word of God and ask the Lord to reveal Himself according to His will. Other wise they will tell you that the D.N.A says this or that. They will tell you that they have discovered the tomb of Jesus that contains bones. It has been 2000 years since Jesus Christ resurrected from dead and ascended to heaven. He is alive. He cannot go back to the tomb.

If people want to do their researches, let them do it. They are looking for money in order to drag people down to hell along with them. We are living in the lasts days beloved brothers and sisters. There are many falls prophets and preachers out there who were not sent by God, but who came to call upon those who were called for life. Paid attention to the word of God my brothers and sisters, seek the face of God and you will be saved, stay in the way of God and you shall see His hand in your life, keep your faith in Jesus Christ and He will remember you when He’ll return.

Wisdom from God

SUNDAY, Feb 25th/2007
A person without wisdom is guided by the enemy. That’s the reason why we need to seek the wisdom from God. The Bible says fearing God is to hate what’s evil, and fearing God is the beginning of wisdom. This means if we fear God, we need to keep His word and we must walk like children of God, children of light. We will not walk like serpents, people who have two faces; we will always speak His words. We won’t be like people who have one foot in, one foot out; meaning that when you are among unbelievers you become unbeliever, and when you are among believer you are believer.

During the week you spend your time in night clubs drinking beer and going evil thinks, on Sunday there you are opening your mouth in church praising God. You are still slave of these things and you need deliverance. Take time to pray and ask wisdom from God. Take time to come to intercessory prayer each Wednesday and you’ll see the hand of God move in your life. May be the Holy Spirit will touch you and help you find deliverance.

A true Christian cannot be inside and outside. That’s we want to make the Glory of our God by understanding these things. Speaking about wisdom, I remember a scripture that the Lord gave me, which was in Proverb 7:1-5. I was asking God to teach and to speak to me. I don’t know to say it. Knowing who I was, God spoke to me through this chapter

    Proverb 7:1-5
  • My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you.
  • Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.
  • Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.
  • Say to wisdom, "You are my sister," and call understanding your kinsman;
  • they will keep you from the adulteress, from the wayward wife with her seductive words.

Abraham's kind of faith

SUNDAY,Feb 11th/2007. How many times have you promised God things? How many times have you made vows in front of God? You may have said once “from now on I will start following the Lord” Have you kept your words? or you’re just forgetting every thing and you are living in the distraction? Do you understand you’ve pronounced these words in front of your God? When you take a decision in your heart, the Lord hears and wait to see the accomplishment of your decisions.

Sometime people sin because they talk too much; they talk and talk, and forget every thing. They make themselves dirty; they don’t know that God is watching them and that God takes them upon their words. God is God of words. He wants his words to be accomplished.

Let’s look at the case of Abraham. God asked Abraham to offer a sacrifice of his only son. Without arguing Abraham took his son to the mountain, collected woods and a knife. The child didn’t see any thing because they usually bring an animal to offer to God. Then the child asked his father “What are going to offer to God?” Having faith, Abraham was willing to offer his son to God but when they arrive at the mountain, God provided a solution for him. Event at the last minute God can provide a solution to any kind of problem you have. His is able to intervene as long as we abbey to His words. God wants you have the Abraham's kind of faith.

Jesus, the living stone rejected by men

SUNDAY,Feb 11th/2007. All things will pass away but the word of God will remain forever. That’s the same word that has been preached to you from generation to generation in the four Gospels of the Bible. God has decided to speak to us through the four Gospels to prepare us for the eternal life. There is no any other book in this world that could contain every thing that Jesus did, but what is written in the Bible is enough to prepare us for the eternal life as long as we accept it. Do you accept and love the world of God? Are you a child of God? This is the word that has been preached to you...

If you have tested that the Lord is good then come closer to Him the living stone that has been rejected by the human kind but chosen and precious to God. How can you test that the Lord is good? Only by reading the word of God, only by sharing this word and by loving God and the church then you will feel that the Lord is good. By experiencing the power of and the victory of God then you will feel that the Lord is good. How will you feel that the Lord is good while you spending your time in the vain things? You spend your time in vain discussions with your friends that you know well they don’t love God, then you love them more and more and spend long time together instead of spending time in front of your God? Then you are missing the greatness of God.

If you want to test how the Lord is good, come closer to Him, the living stone rejected by men but chosen and precious to God ...

The glory belongs to God alone

SUNDAY,Feb 04th/2007. You are the salt and the light of the earth; A city located at the top of a mountain that is never been hidden. A child of God is not someone to be hidden underneath the table, but someone who must be there for other people to see. That’s why a child of God must be careful on his behavior and his way of living. God wants to be glorified in me, that’s what a true Christian must recognize in his live. I am created on the image of God in order to give Him glory; in my behavior and in my lifestyle so other people would be able to testify that I’m a child and a servant of God. Otherwise the Glory of God shall departure form me. The Bible says that God doesn’t want His glory to be given to any one else. He wants that the Glory to be to Him alone...

When you take care of pours and unfortunates ones, God will never forsake you, and when you cry toward Him, He will say Here I am. When you’ll call upon His name He will here you and respond you...

Some time you have been praying for something and you have not yet seen something happen. Then you need to change the way of praying. If you were praying 10 minutes for yourself, now pray 30 minutes for others people first and pray for yourself. Sometime we waist time praying for ourselves forgetting about other people...

Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also

Date: January 21/2007
Preacher: Pastor Simon Muange
Interpretor: Br. Gloria Ngezaho

The tithe is a part of God, that’s what the Bible says. I know there are people who don’t want me to speak about money, but what I know is that when the children of God discover the will of God, they will be blessed. Ignorance cannot allow someone to be blessed by God. That’s why we have to talk about it because it’s the will of God. We talked about the Christians of Macedonia. These Christians impressed and astonished the apostle Paul because they willingly gave according to their means and above what they had. Do you understand that? They willingly gave according to their means and above what they had. For you to give, someone has to ask to do so. But you have to understand to whom you are giving!! If you thing you are giving to me, you will get tied. When I’m talking about the tithe, I’m talking about the part of God and you have to understand that. God say you have stolen from Him since the time of your ancestors. You have stolen from God since the time of you were little up to now. Because for the sun that He rises every morning, you pay nothing. For the cold He sends you pay nothing. And for the snow He makes fall, you pay nothing, for living breath that you have, you pay nothing. Then when God ask for your one of ten, it becomes a problem. That’s why He says you have stolen from Him since longtime in the tithes and offerings. He wants you to come back to Him.

They willingly gave according to their means and above what they had. The most important thing, thing that touched me a lot is to know that they first gave themselves. If you don’t give yourself to God first, even though you can give your money, even though you can give car, your house, but what God wants is that you may first give your self to Him. To give yourself to God is to sacrifice yourself

Mathieu 6:19-21
19"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Luc 12:33-34
33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.
34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Proverb 3:7-10
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

A way in the desert

Date: Jan 07/2007
Preacher: Pastor Simon Muange
Interpretor: Br. Gloria Ngezaho

Isaiah 43:18-22
18 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.

19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

20 The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the desert and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen,

21 the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.

22 "Yet you have not called upon me, O Jacob; you have not wearied yourselves for me, O Israel.”

God says “I’m going to make a way in the desert”. There are many among us who don’t know what the desert is. The desert is a place where you cannot cultivate anything. No water, no food, it’s too hot and there is no way you can live in there. Just like us as we are living in this world, sometime we go through a period of desert, a period of difficulties. God is able of anything, nothing is impossible to Him. Remember whene the children of Israel got out of Egypt, they arrived at the red see out of idea how to go across. They just waited for their death to come.

But God who thinks above what we can imagine, opened a way for them and they went across as if there was not water. That’s why our God is able of anything. When He says “I’m going to make a way in the desert”, that’s in deed what is going to do. After making the way for the children of Israel and after they had gone through, their enemies continued pursuing them. And what did God do? He pulled water back together and they were all swollen. God is going to do something special to you. But the only one thing is asking you, is to forget the formers things.

Do not thing about what happened in the past, the enemy that tormented you in the past, the family that gave you hard time, even if your spouse, forgive all that and forget. When I say forgive is because you want to see the hand of God in your life. But if you got back to the old life style, you won’t have time to focus on things of God. The enemy wants you to go back to the past, he want you to be a slave of sin and a slave of this world. But God tells you: "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland”. It’s all up to you brothers and sisters.
