The IBCC Choir, founded in 2005, is one of the most
dynamic influences in Portland’s multicultural music scene.
In its history, it has presented more than fifty outstanding
performances in the church services. Today the choir specializes
in performing the significant compositions for major African and
American Christian bands. The choir is looking forward to performing
by invitation with any other Christian band in visit in the Portland
metro area. The choir will extend similar invitations and will accept
them when possible. While principally a multicultural Christian choir,
the group does perform live at weddings, birthday parties, and any
other Christian occasion. It’s planning to record every spring for
compact disc and video reproduction.
The IBCC Choir is a nonprofit organization with a membership of
11 selected singers and musicians. Its committee is elected from
among the choir membership and carries on the business of the choir,
as the organization has no paid staff. The singers are from all
ages and voice classifications. Many are music professionals, church
and school choir directors and semi-professional singers. The IBCC
Choir is well-known for its unparalleled well-rehearsed, clean, rich
musical sound.
The choir has been fully self-supporting as a matter of artistic
principle and only recently will begin a fundraising campaign for
purposes of realizing its exciting project, the building of orphanages
in Africa and sponsoring children at school, and harboring abandoned
war victim children.
The choir of The IBCC is a branch of the youth ministry.
It takes its spiritual foundation and inspiration from the
book of Ps. 150. Aimed to become Rejoice Africa, the choir
is working hard to bring praise and worship in the church and
is seeking the participation of all young men and women of
the church. With this choir the praise and worship at IBCC
have gone to the next level. We experiment the presence of
the Holy Spirit every Sunday as the choir leads inspiring choruses.

Should you have a wedding event, birthday, graduation party...
or any other Christian celebration; you can rent this choir to perform
live at as low as $600.00 per two hour contract and $100.00 for each
additional hour. This is the way how you can help us help these children
